Banafshe Rahimi was born in Tehran at 2 August 1972.
As a teenager she was interested in painting and soon began to study miniature from Maestro Ali Asghar Noomani.
At the same time she became an active member of Calligraphy Society of Iran.
Looking for a more free artistic field, She became student of famous painter Iraj Shafei in 1990.
Since then she’s had many exhibitions and expos in Iran and in abroad with Iraj Shafei and other Iranian artists.
Banafshe Rahimi opened her own studio for teaching painting’s lovers and has been collaboration with high schools of Karadj, Women’s Association of Cultural Affairs.
She may be considered as a realist painter.
